Partner Communications has reported net revenues of NIS1.68bn ($432m) for second quarter of 2010, an increase of 11.25%, compared to NIS1.51bn ($396m) in the same period last year.

The company’s gross profit for the quarter increased by 12% to NIS659m ($170m) from NIS590m ($155m) in Q2 2009,while operating profit was NIS474m ($123m), compared to NIS434m ($114m) from Q2 2009.

For the second quarter ended 30 June 2010, the company posed net income of NIS293m ($76m), compared to net income of NIS288m ($75.4m) from same quarter previous year.

Partner Communications chief executive officer David Avner said that the second quarter of 2010 was yet another impressive quarter for Partner, demonstrating the Company’s leadership and focus on financial and operational excellence as well as customer satisfaction.

"I am highly satisfied with the growth in our revenues and EBITDA which is a direct result of our marketing efforts and our ability to offer attractive service bundles to our customers," Avner said.

"We also continue to see strong growth in mobile data which is one of the main growth engines of our service revenues, and the profitability of our fixed line business is improving each quarter."
