Orange has unveiled GlastoNav application, a new mobile download that it claims to provide Glastonbury revellers with interactive festival planner.

In association with the Guardian Guide, the free service gives Glastonbury goers information and stage times for the full Glastonbury line-up and the ability to personalise own artist schedule for the whole weekend. It also provides users with an interactive map of the site as well as festival news, advice and alerts.

In addition, the new app will hold competitions running throughout the festival weekend giving Glastonbury revellers a chance to win the side of stage access to the pyramid stage.

Spencer McHugh, brand director of Orange UK, said: “Orange GlastoNav is the best way to plan the perfect Glastonbury weekend. Sharing your schedule with friends means you will never miss meeting up for your favourite bands and GlastoNav will keep you up to date with the latest news and the chance to win side of pyramid stage passes everyday.”

GlastoNav is a free application but may cost up to £0.75 in data charges to download depending on the user’s tariff.
