Oracle has unveiled the latest release of Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise, with PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.1, PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools 8.50, PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management 9.1 and PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 9.1.
PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM 9.1 is a platform that addresses human resources responsibilities for global organisations. In addition to integrated talent management, workforce management and workforce service delivery, the latest version includes embedded web 2.0 capabilities and new industry-specific enhancements, the company said.
Part of the PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM suite of products, PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management 9.1 enables organisations to manage their learning environment, ensuring that employees acquire knowledge and skills consistent with corporate objectives and regulatory compliance, Oracle added.
According to Oracle, PeopleTools 8.50 is a PeopleSoft Enterprise technology platform, offering a flexible development environment for customers to manage, customise, integrate and support their PeopleSoft applications.
The company claimed that this latest update features an end user experience through the use of new Web 2.0 capabilities, enhanced integration and expanded reporting options. PeopleTools 8.50 is the foundation for PeopleSoft 9.1 applications but is also backward-compatible for older releases.
Oracle added that PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 9.1 helps organisations promote engagement and collaboration through the deployment of online communities and web-based self-service sites for their enterprises.
