Oracle has launched new Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) 3.6.1, Oracle User Productivity Kit Professional 6.3, and Oracle Tutor 12.2 to support enterprise applications, including Oracle, third party and custom applications.

The company said that the Oracle UPK and Oracle UPK Professional are content development platforms used to create and deliver documentation, simulations, and in-application performance support.

According to Oracle, the Oracle UPK 3.6.1 offers sound editor that allow users to create engaging conceptual content with enhanced sound recording, editing, and playback capabilities, including sound over web pages, slide presentations, and transactional simulations; output to powerpoint files enabling users to export screen shots and instructional text to create customisable Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

In addition, Oracle UPK 3.6.1 also features launch and edit packages that allow users to open and edit items directly within a package to reduce content editing time and costs; and context sensitivity that offers context sensitivity for Oracle and SAP applications.

The Tutor 12.2 offers enhanced, customisable user-facing HTML documents and assistive technologies support. The product features enable customers to create more engaging content to increase knowledge transfer; reduce content development and maintenance time; and streamline access and deployment of both transactional and procedural documentation.
