Oracle has launched Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) System Release 11.1.2, which introduces three new performance management applications, Hyperion Disclosure Management, Hyperion Financial Close Management, Hyperion Public Sector Planning and Budgeting, as well as enhancements to existing Hyperion performance management applications, and enhanced integrations with Oracle applications.

Oracle EPM System, a component of Fusion Middleware, combines EPM applications and business intelligence products, and enables organisations to streamline their planning and forecasting processes by offering approval workflows that are data-driven, user-configured and scenario-specific; zero-code web forms; and delivery of all the planning, workflow and task management capabilities to business users, the company said.

According to Oracle, the new Hyperion Public Sector Planning and Budgeting module delivers a purpose-built offering for budget management and planning; the Hyperion Financial Close Management application centralises task management and delivers a web-based management dashboard for the financial close process; while the Hyperion Disclosure Management, helps organisations ensure the accuracy of external and statutory financial reports, and their transformation into statutory filings using eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL).

The new release, available in 15 languages, aligns management and operational processes through integration with Oracle Applications, including the E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft Enterprise.

Oracle said that Hyperion Data Relationship Management introduces native integration with Customer Hub Release 8.2, allowing data stewards to author, manage and reconcile corporate hierarchies.

Robert Gersten, senior vice president of Oracle Development, said: “The new applications, enhancements and key integrations introduced in this release will help organisations significantly improve their planning, financial close, and statutory and internal reporting processes whether using the Oracle EPM System with Oracle Applications or non-Oracle ERP solutions.”
