Oracle has introduced its Enterprise Pack for Eclipse, a new component of its Fusion Middleware solution.

By CBR Staff Writer

Oracle claims that the Enterprise Pack for Eclipse provides a set of certified plug-ins, which will enable a development environment to support Java EE standards where Eclipse is the preferred integrated development environment within an organization.

The company also claims that the Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse supports development with technologies including Java Enterprise Edition, Java Standard Edition, JavaServer Faces, web services, XML, spring framework, struts, database development CSS and Javascript.

Ted Farrell, chief architect and vice president of tools and middleware at Oracle, said: As the Oracle Fusion Middleware community of Java developers continues to grow, so does our commitment to productivity with choice. The Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse will enable developers to leverage their expertise in Eclipse when building applications for Oracle Fusion Middleware.
