Oracle has unveiled Tutor 14, the new version of its process documentation tool that is designed to help organisations preserve and share knowledge, maintain compliance and speed employee on-boarding.
The company said its new tool streamlines training, facilitates information sharing and improves document consistency by enabling organisations to create, deploy and maintain enterprise policies and procedures.
Tutor 14 helps organisations retain corporate knowledge, improve workforce effectiveness, manage change, and reduce process improvement costs through effective documentation.
Oracle said the new version includes new content conversion capabilities to help organisations customise procedures.
New import and export capabilities with Business Process Management Suite 11g and Business Process Analysis Suite 11g organisations share model diagrams and process documents between business process analysts and end users.
Tutor 14 now imports Microsoft Visio diagrams and XPDL-capable modeling files into Tutor, Business Process Management Suite 11g, and Business Process Analysis Suite to accelerate content development and deployment to both technical and non-technical employees.
Oracle vice president of product management Dave Shaffer said Tutor 14 helps customers centralise important templates and processes, streamlining knowledge management even as organisations experience business and personnel change.
