Opex unveils new software for mailroom and scanning operations

Opex Insight helps tracking mails, processing documents, measuring operator productivity and monitoring system benchmarks

By CBR Staff Writer

US-based document imaging company Opex has unveiled Insight, a software productivity suite for mailroom and scanning operations.

Insight enables users to track mail and process documents, measure operator productivity and monitor various system benchmarks on all Opex equipment.

The three modules contained in Insight Dashboard for evaluating different facets were Status, Scanner Statistics and ONS+ Machine Statistics.

Status module displays real-time processing activity across the entire operation; Scanner Statistics module stores productivity data and ONS+ Machine Statistics module collects processing data from each Opex device and aggregates it for analysis across the entire operation.

Jeff Bowen, president of Opex Incoming and Scanning, said: “In this economic environment, it is more important than ever for organisations to get the most out of their resources.

Opex Insight provides managers with the current, actual performance of their equipment and staff. This information helps them focus on areas that will yield the greatest improvements in efficiency.”
