Opera has launched the full version of its mobile web browser for Android powered devices, eliminating Opera’s Presto rendering engine and deployed Google’s Chromium.

Earlier launched as a public beta for a few months, the latest updated browser incorporates features including new toggle navigation bar from top to bottom and a search and navigate with a responsive address bar, while also allows wrapping text when zooming and view active tabs in full screen.

According to the firm, the Android browser represents a huge transformation from technical development to product-focused development, departing its Presto framework and implementing the WebKit engine, in addition to Chromium.

In addition, the revamped interface retains popular features such as speed dial and improved compatibility in addition to new Discover and Off-road mode.

Discover surfaces articles and content from the Web, as per the user’s interests, while off-road mode enables reducing data consumption and enhances browser performance in highly congested areas.

Currently, both Opera and Chrome use the Webkit rendering engine, while are later anticipated to move to Blink.
