OpenSky has introduced a secure checkout technology for eCommerce that can be distributed to any site, allowing the company’s sellers to integrate shopping throughout their content.

The company said that the new technology offers a purchase process that flows with the consumption of web content. The new cart functions across all OpenSky sellers and enables shoppers to use one cart to checkout across any seller within the OpenSky community.

OpenSky Sellers now has the facility to merchandise their goods by inserting a ‘buy from me’ button or link as easily as they would insert a hyperlink. The integration keeps consumers involved in the original content longer, simultaneously driving page-views, engagement and commerce.

OpenSky said that its platform enables bloggers and trusted experts to sell unique products they love without worrying about inventory, customer service, shipping, or transaction technology.

John Caplan, founder and CEO of OpenSky, said: “OpenSky is about strengthening the connections between people and making shopping more convenient. As of today, shoppers can buy goods directly from the person they trust most. They can stay engaged with their favorite content and make a purchase without ever leaving the content.”
