The latest upgrade includes Real Time Presence, which will allow users to see the exact location of the edits made by others in a document.

Initially, the feature will only be supported by OneDrive for Business, but the company plans to roll it out to other members soon.

Now users will also be able to share their files simply by clicking ‘Share’ on the ‘Ribbon’ to save the in cloud, facilitating a collaborative way to sharing files and making them available to others to review.

Insights for Office, is another feature added to Office 2016 which will provide users with information that are pulled from Bing to provide a better reading experience.

By typing keywords in the content users will get relevant information into the Task panel.

The company has also made improvements to Version History to make it easier to find different versions of files stored on SharePoint or OneDrive for Business.

"We have more new features in the pipeline that will be showing up in the Preview over the coming week."
