Nuxeo rolls out beta preview of digital asset management software

Packaged application based on open source ECM platform

By CBR Staff Writer

Open source enterprise content management (ECM) firm Nuxeo has released new Digital Asset Management offering (Nuxeo DAM) for beta preview.

The company said that its new offering is a packaged application based on its open source ECM platform that addresses the resource-intensive demands of managing the rich media assets.

The company claims that the new digital asset management software, which is designed to meet the requirements of marketing and brand managers, opens up new opportunities for creators, users and consumers of rich media to take control of critical image, video or audio content.

Built on Nuxeo ECM platform, Nuxeo EP, a new DAM application, benefits from the rich APIs and extension mechanism of the underlying platform. Nuxeo envisions a new generation of vertical and horizontal applications built to manage interactive digital assets, the company said.
