To enter the smartphone and mobile computing market in China

By CBR Staff Writer

NuMobile, a smartphone and mobile computing software company, has expanded E-Commerce service in China to diversify and increase market opportunities to enter the smartphone and mobile computing market in China. As a result of its existing acquisitions, NuMobile anticipates signing its first substantial contract before the end of 2009 for an estimated $20m and $8m gross margin.

According to the company, its Chinese channel partner, China Crescent Enterprises, is registering to provide E-Commerce services in China in part to improve its sales potential of smartphone and mobile computing services. China Crescent is a systems integration service provider in China that sells and services brand name technologies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, IBM, HP and Dell in addition to selling and servicing new technologies.

China Crescent recently reported record net income of $1.1m through the first six months of 2009 on $17m in revenue. The company reported over $40m in revenue in both 2007 and 2008 and has forecasted reporting $50m in profitable revenue in 2009.

According to a China Tech News summary of a recent IDC market research report, trade in China’s e-commerce is expected to reach CNY3.22 trillion in total trade by 2010, up from CNY1.951 trillion in 2008. Wireless Expertise, a UK-based wireless market research and consulting firm, expects rapid growth in the global mobile application marketplace from $4.66 billion in 2009 to $16.6 billion in 2013.
