Novell has expanded its WorkloadIQ portfolio with the introduction of Identity Manager 4 Advanced Edition, which is designed to ensure consistent identity, security and compliance policies for an organisation’s IT ecosystem.

Novell said that the new Identity Manager 4 Advanced Edition delivers a spectrum of cloud-ready Identity and Security offerings to meet enterprise need for security in physical, virtual and cloud environments.

It integrates roles management, workflow and intelligent reporting to support the identity and compliance needs of the enterprise or managed service provider.

Novell senior vice president and general manager of Security, Management and Operating Platforms Jim Ebzery said Identity Manager 4 would help customers eliminate silos, reduce risk and lay the foundation for cloud-based platform adoption.
