Samsung Electronics will provide Norton Mobile Security, an application for Android OS, in multiple languages to Samsung Galaxy users through Samsung Apps.
Norton Mobile Security combines anti-theft features with antimalware to protect user’s data from loss, theft, viruses and other threats.
The Norton software remotely locates user’s smartphone and also remotely locks user lost or stolen phone via the Internet or SMS to keep critical data safe and block unauthorised access.
The security application also enables user to remotely erase the data on his phone via SMS, blocking access to private information and automatically downloads and installs security updates, protecting user from cybercriminals.
Norton Mobile Security scans all files and application updates downloaded to user mobile phone and automatically detects and removes threats without slowing user down and also gives user the option of automatically scanning SD (Secure Digital) memory cards for threats when user plugs them into mobile phone.
Norton Mobile Security now supports all Samsung Galaxy Android smartphones, including Galaxy S2 LTE, Galaxy S2, Galaxy Neo, Galaxy S Hoppin and Galaxy A.
