Nokia is reportedly planning to launch six new devices at an upcoming event scheduled on 22 October 2013 in Abu Dhabi, marking the first major product after being acquired by Microsoft.

The event will see launch of new devices including about two new Lumia devices including the long awaited debut of Lumia 1520 phablet.

Nokia’s first phablet will be powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, while featuring a 20-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 6-inch full-HD display, 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage, in addition to slots for a nano-SIM and a microSD card.

Nokia is also anticipated to launch first Lumia 2520 tablet (Sirius), which is based on Windows RT and powered by quad-core Qualcomm 8974 (ARM) processor, while its features would include a 10.1-inch IPS full-HD display, a 6.7-megapixel camera inaddition to pre-loaded Nokia apps.

Upon the acquisition, the collaboration between Nokia and Microsoft is expected to bolster advertising efforts to vie with major rivals.
