Nimsoft has introduced a new application for monitoring and optimising the performance of VMware vCloud environments.
Nimsoft Monitor for vCloud will monitor all the physical, virtual systems and network resources that support any given application or service, regardless of their location.
The new release also monitors dynamic vCloud Director systems by providing coverage, insights and automating administrators need.
It also monitors the administrators underlying cloud services and infrastructure.
The multiple vCloud Director instances will provide capacity and performance data to the Nimsoft application in customisable intervals, regardless they are on-premise, running at a service provider or both.
The new monitoring application provides vCloud Director resources with automated discovery, deployment, configuration, and data aggregation and delivers templates for creating policies that can be applied to specific resource groups.
Nimsoft Monitor for vCloud delivers multi-tenant views of performance, availability, utilisation and other monitoring data.
It also delivers correlated monitoring of resources supporting applications and services, including virtual machines and virtual LANs.
