Next Level Security Systems, a provider of unified, networked security offerings, has launched the NLSS Gateway 3000, a networked offering that combines the elements of a physical security system with enterprise-class capabilities into a single platform.
The new offering integrates networked video management, IP access control, video analytics and intrusion from the ground up.
This approach allows data from the traditionally separate subsystems to be correlated without custom integration, while combined data is available to users through a single, intuitive user interface.
The company said that combining the applications into one platform enhances a user’s situational awareness without complex installation or software development.
The NLSS Gateway 3000 supports up to 32 channels of 720p HD IP video feeds at 30fps and 70 Mb/s throughput, and manages access control readers and panels for up to 256 doors.
In addition, it integrates compact flash backup for user data and configuration parameters, flash memory and includes 2TB internal disk space.
The new offering along with the NLSS Gateway Micro, scales as user needs expand, and delivers features such as auto discovery and auto provisioning of edge devices, including cameras and access control hardware.
Further, when combined with NLSS Remote Management Services, users have the ability to access, configure and monitor all features of the NLSS Gateway 3000 across multiple sites from any location through Web browsers and mobile devices.
Next Level Security Systems CEO and chairman Pete Jankowski said the complete line of NLSS Gateway offerings delivers video management functionality and combines it with IP access control, video analytics and intrusion detection in a cost-effective package.
"We are excited to announce the NLSS Gateway 3000 as it enables us to bring our industry-leading capabilities to a new customer segment while continuing to maximise user expectations and easing integration challenges for our partners," Jankowski said.
