New enterprise security business aims to revolutionise infosec

CSG Invotas will tackle cyber threats with real-time orchestration and automation solutions.

By Duncan Macrae

CSG International, a provider of interactive transaction-driven solutions and services, has launched CSG Invotas, a software and services business focused on enterprise security solutions.

CSG Invotas offers CIOs and CISOs a "revolutionary approach" to threat mitigation and eradication. Instead of simply detecting and analysing intrusions, it provides automation and orchestration solutions to respond in real time to emerging and ongoing cyber attacks.

For more than 30 years, CSG has been a trusted partner to some of the world’s best-known brands in the communications services, financial services, government, transportation, and utilities sectors. CSG Invotas is rooted in the company’s DNA and builds on the proven technologies, expertise, and global delivery infrastructure CSG currently provides to more than 500 global clients. It is a natural evolution of CSG’s time-tested mediation and activation solutions by adapting the award-winning capabilities that support some of the most complex network operator environments in the world to a best-in-class security offering.

Peter Kalan, president and CEO of CSG, said: "Our clients have witnessed a staggering rise in the number of cyber attacks and compromised data records, and they need partners that can support real-time security management.

"Attacks unfold in the blink of an eye but can take months to be properly contained and eradicated. CSG Invotas enables our clients to respond to attacks in real time, providing increased levels of business assurance, continuity, efficiency, and risk management; decreased technology operations costs; and the ability to protect mission-critical infrastructure continuously and securely."

Each year, CSG manages eight trillion mediation events, penny-balances more than $36 billion in revenue, and processes 12 billion transactions on behalf of its clients.
