NetQin unveils Anti-virus 4.2 Beta protection for Android mobiles

Anti-lost and contacts backup features for Android apps users

NetQin Mobile, a provider of mobile security services, has unveiled NetQin Anti-virus 4.2 Beta, a free application for Android 2.0/2.1/2.2.

NetQin Anti-virus 4.2 Beta is an application based on cloud-security platform and is designed to protect Android application against viruses and malware, the company said.

NetQin Anti-virus 4.2 Beta for Android devices can make Android device users take control with its new features like Anti-Virus, backup contacts, and mobile Anti-lost.

The anti-virus feature deletes the latest viruses, Trojans, spyware and malicious fee-deduction software to protect a user’s phone and privacy, while backup contacts is a general backup account that enables users to backup and restore contact information between Android, Symbian, and iOS, avoiding loss of data.

Mobile Anti-lost feature runs with remote control-like functions, providing worldwide protection for financial losses and privacy leakage, and also enables users to locate a lost phone, sound an alarm on it, and trace where exactly it is.

NetQin Mobile is a provider in mobile security services, mobile security offerings based on a cloud-computing model, including anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spam, privacy protection, data backup and recovery.
