Information risk and security performance management firm nCircle has launched a new vulnerability assessment tool, PureCloud for IT security consultants.
PureCloud meets the needs of security service organisations and consultants by delivering nCircle’s vulnerability scanning platform combined with a cloud-based scan technology.
The new vulnerability assessment tool will enable consultants to scan their customers’ internal and external networks.
nCircle Business Development vice president Ed Colonna said PureCloud for Consultants delivers a new level of service for vulnerability and security risk assessments.
"PureCloud provides the most comprehensive scanning technology available today in a low-cost, easy-to-use offering that does not require any hardware or software," Colonna said.
"PureCloud consulting partners can remotely configure scans and access results, eliminating much of the travel required with traditional network vulnerability scanning tools."
The new release includes the vulnerability scanning technology that discovers and assess over 63,000 conditions and 10,000 applications. It also offrs access to the nCircle Connect user community and PureCloud knowledge base.
