MSI Notebook, a Taiwanese notebook maker, has launched its new Classic notebook series. The first model in the series is the 14-inch CR400.
According to the company, the 14-inch CR400 features a uni-body design with 45-degree angled edges. This model uses the company’s CFM (Colour Film Print) technology and the keyboard makes use of its EDS (Ergonomic De-Stress) technology. CR400 weighs about 2 kg with the 6-cell battery.
The CR400 uses GeForce 8200M G graphics processing unit (GPU) and features a 14-inch display with 16:9 (movie theatre class) aspect ratio and LED backlight. The model, which comes with a built-in webcam and microphone, supports 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, and incorporates a Bluetooth V2.0 + EDR module.
The new CR400 reportedly includes ECO Engine technology that allows switching between entertainment, presentation, word processing and energy-saving modes, depending on the users’ need.
The other models that make up the series include the 16-inch CX600 and CR600, and the 17.3-inch CX700 and CR700.
