Modularis, a provider of architecture for enterprise ISVs and OEMs, has unveiled new Accelerator 2009 R2 Business Application Platform.

Modularis said that the new Microsoft .NET Framework-based platform offers a service-oriented architecture (SOA), SmartClient infrastructure and model-driven automation applications. It also includes framework and automation components to allow users to develop Microsoft Silverlight applications without having to modify any back-end or middle-tier components.

The new Open Web Services reportedly provide cross-platform compatibility, allowing clients, partners and end-customers to build JAVA applications that can access data and services from .NET-based Modularis applications.

Brian Gorbett, senior architect of Microsoft’s developer and platform evangelism group, said: It’s great to see a Microsoft Partner like Modularis deliver a solution that further shows the value of the .NET platform while at the same time making it easier for other Microsoft Partners and Clients to more quickly develop and deploy .NET solutions that are enterprise ready.

A.J. Singh, Modularis CEO, said: Accelerator 2009 R2 accelerates the value of our client applications software worldwide. The Microsoft .NET Framework-based platform helps Enterprise ISVs, Systems Integrators, OEMs, and Government Enterprises achieve their business goals fast.

The Modularis Accelerator Business Application Platform delivers a proven service-oriented architecture (SOA), comprehensive SmartClient infrastructure and powerful model-driven automation.
