MindTree, a provider of IT and product engineering services, has launched an integrated IT infrastructure management services platform ‘MWatch’.
A built-in monitoring and management tool encompassing organisations’ entire infrastructure from desktops to servers will be provided by the new platform to help CIOs and IT infrastructure managers increase IT and service efficiencies and reduce costs.
MindTree SVP & head of Infrastructure Management & Technical Support Ram C Mohan said MWatch is a secure platform that facilitates consolidation and provides a complete view of the infrastructure, enabling CIOs to optimise IT performance, streamline work flows and eliminate unnecessary expenditures.
MWatch is available for both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures, and its deployment is backed by MindTree’s built-in security framework, ENACT (Environment Access Control terminal).
The platform, which is based on ITIL v3 guidelines with event, incident, problem, configuration and change management integrated with service desk support, features a correlation engine and a built-in knowledgebase, which maps infrastructure elements to specific services for proactive problem solving.
Offering compatibility with third party tools to protect investment, this platform will help CIOs get an analytical insight on their IT spend by automating standard operational activities, eliminating daily manual processes and errors.
It also improves governance with a common dashboard for services, intelligent integration of a federated database, enterprise-wide pre-processed reporting, and framework compliance tracking.
