Microsoft has updated the business versions of its Microsoft Office 365 cloud service which will be tailored to the needs and budgets of small, medium and large enterprises.
Offered as an always up-to-date cloud service, the new Office 365 features SharePoint, Yammer, and will add Lync-Skype connectivity, instant messaging (IM), and voice by June 2013.
The Office 365 offers updated Microsoft Lync Online, Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft SharePoint Online services, which can be accessed in up to five devices.
Microsoft Office division president, Kurt DelBene, said that the with Office 365, everyone from large enterprises to small businesses and individual consumers can now benefit from the power of Office and the connectivity of the cloud.
"This release unlocks new scenarios and delivers capabilities that far surpass anything available in browser-only solutions," DelBene said.
The Office 365 is classified into Office 365 ProPlus, Office 365 Midsize Business and Office 365 Small Business Premium.
The revamped Microsoft Office 365 service is available in 69 markets and 17 languages and the company plans to make it available in an additional 20 markets and 16 languages in the second quarter of this year.
