Microsoft’s vice president Rajesh Jha accidently published an unfinished blog about Microsoft’s acquisition of Acompli, an email vendor.

Tech Crunch cited the blog URL as saying "Microsoft Acquires Acompli.", with no further details about the acquisition in the blog.

Acompli is a venture-backed startup headquartered in San Francisco, providing mobile based front-end email services for enterprise.

It helps users find out the most important emails in their inbox in an easy manner. The service is similar to Mailbox which was acquired by Dropbox.

The company’s app is available for Android and iOS platforms and is compatible with Gmail, Apple iCloud, and Yahoo Mail.

According to reports, the one year old company raised $7.3 million back in June, and might have been seeking further funding.

Microsoft has not responded to the reports.
