McAfee has unveiled Full Spectrum Network Defense offering, which features enhancements to its Network Security Platform, including day-zero malware detection, network threat behavior analysis, and application-level security.
The company said that the new offering includes network IPS, user behavior analysis, network threat behavior analysis, network access control and McAfee firewall enterprise. It integrates network intrusion prevention system with behavioral analysis tools to provide visibility across the network, real-time threat protection technology and enterprise risk assessment tools.
According to McAfee, the new offering identifies traffic, users, content and applications, and defends against any threats that may exist across the network. It is powered by McAfee NetPrism technology, protocol analysis approach to network threat protection and features enhanced interlock between network security, endpoint security and global threat intelligence, to deliver threat protection.
The new offering includes benefits such as real-time malware protection; network threat behavior analysis; integration with McAfee risk advisor; and network security management, the company said.
