Healthcare company Simplyhealth has signed Mastek to enhance its existing software and support new installations for the next three years. Under the agreement, the two companies will implement new software each quarter.
Simplyhealth offers healthcare products and services for individuals, families and companies in the UK. Its offerings include health plans, private medical insurance, trusts, health screening, occupational health and mobility aids.
Previously, Mastek has designed Simplyhealth’s core operation system, Pulse, which supports the company’s call centre, new and existing customer data and claims handling and processing.
Ian Maude, executive director of Simplyhealth, said: “We are delighted to reinforce our partnership with Mastek, a specialist in delivering large scale IT solutions. Together with the in-house IT and business personnel, we have formed a seamless team which has resolved problems. Mastek will continue to be our first port of call for any new IT initiatives in the near future.”
DV Subramaniam, client services director at Mastek, said: “Simplyhealth has an outstanding reputation within the healthcare community. We look forward to integrating ourselves within Simplyhealth and adding real value to the organisation’s staff and customers.”
Doing business in the UK since 1993, Mastek provides software services to a few core sectors including public services, insurance (life & pensions and general insurance) and financial services.
