ManTech wins IT services contract from FBI

Secured communications, application development, systems engineering, and cyber security

ManTech International, a provider of technologies and offering for national security programmes, has received one of the prime contracts from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to provide an array of information technology services to the FBI and other Department of Justice (DOJ) agencies.

Under the FBI IT Supplies and Support Services (FBI IT Triple S) contract, ManTech will provide technology services including secured communications, application development, systems engineering, cyber security, counter-terrorism analytics, tactical biometrics, system operations and maintenance, and other information technology support.

The contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract and has one base year and seven option years, with a total ceiling value of $30bn for all awardees.

ManTech mission, cyber and technology solutions president and chief operating officer, William Varner said the company has a long-standing history of providing high-quality, comprehensive technology and cyber security services to the FBI, services that are similar in size, scope and complexity to the requirements of this contract.
