Looking for that ultimate Valentine’s day gift? Red Nexus 5 appears

Google Play Store offering love-hued flagship, but what's the difference?

By Ben Sullivan

A new, bright red version of the massively successful Nexus 5 smartphone has hit the Google Play store.

Similar to its original white and black counterparts, the new red Nexus 5 will come in 16GB and 32GB models, and costs just £299 unlocked. However, unfortunately, it appears the red Nexus 5 is only different in colour.

The Nexus 5, which was released late last year, is Google’s latest flagship device, and is packed with a 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and full HD 5" display.

Running on Android’s latest incarnation, 4.4 KitKat, straight out of the box, the Nexus 5 offers a seamless interface and a powerful smartphone experience.
