Liaison Technologies, a provider of integration and data management services, has released the Contivo Vocabulary Management Solution release 4.0.2. With the Contivo enhancements, Liaison continues to offers data mapping, conversion, and transformation products for global and intra-enterprise data integration projects.
The company claimed that Contivo Vocabulary Management Solution (VMS) minimises the impact integration imposes on applications. It maintains each transformation mapping, including content validation and format variations regardless of sources, target applications, platforms, or adapter requirements.
The new offering eliminates the need for new code development and allows mappings to be moved between applications and platforms. Contivo helps reduce the reliance on a particular B2B/EAI platform vendor with a central, semantics-based metadata repository that offers version control and algorithms for collaborative design and execution.
Some of the new features and functionality in the new offering include: SAP PI 7.0 and 7.1 transform generation; EDI X12 version 4010 transaction definitions; GUI support for identifying mismatches between flat file data and the interface definition; improved API for generating transforms and other operations; support for global variables in XSLT transforms; and ability to move objects between projects in the Contivo Repository.
