LexiConn Internet Services, a provider of web hosting and e-commerce services, has rolled out two new add-on modules, the Quick Order and LexiConn Shipping Module (LSM), for the ShopSite e-commerce software system.

ShopSite is a developer of electronic commerce software for the small-to-medium-sized business. Its products are ShopSite Pro, ShopSite Manager and ShopSite Starter.

LexiConn said that the Quick Order module integrates with ShopSite, to allow customers to enter SKUs and quantities into one form for addition to the shopping cart. This is suitable for stores that publish any type of catalogue as their customers can then place orders, saving the time of tracking down each individual product on the website.

In addition, the Quick Order module provides a confirmation of products entered, and also verifies that all inputted SKUs are valid before the products are added to the cart.

The company said that the LSM ties directly into ShopSite, to offer merchants a multi-faceted shipping application that can be used to implement shipping scenarios. Features include restricting or allowing shipping options based on the customer’s place, as well as SKU based restriction capabilities.

Jason McGrath, CEO of LexiConn, said: “ShopSite is a leader in e-commerce software solutions, and we are glad to be able to further enhance the software by providing our merchants with more flexibility for their shipping and sales offerings.”
