LenovoEMC expands storage infrastructure with latest server solution

The LenovoEMC px4-400r solution is available worldwide.

LenovoEMC has released a network storage solution for distributed and small to medium enterprises designed to expand storage capabilities at reduced costs.

TheLenovoEMC px4-400r Network Storage, which is available for Windows, Mac and Linux devices, is powered by the network storage company’s LifeLine operating system.

The solution uses the 7200rpm SATA-III server class drives that includes 16TB of storage capacity and provides an optional dual port GigE NIC card for throughput and reliability, according to the firm.

Other features include Windows Active Directory domain join, cloud technology, remote access, support for RAID, and DMI, eSATA and USB 3.0 ports.

Out-of-the-box certifications include Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2, VMware vSphere ESX 5.5 iSCSI and NAS, XenServer 6.1, 6.2 (w/ MPIO), iSCSI and NFS.

LenovoEMC launched a data protection and backup system that offers protection for businesses data on servers, PCs and NAS in September 2013.
