Google’s executive chairman Eric Schmidt has been spotted with a leaked video of company’s upcoming smartphone Moto X, which is reported to feature Google Glass style always on voice commands.
According to the reports, Google executive chairman was holding a white coloured version of the smartphone at the recent Allen & Co conference in Sun Valley in the US.
The reports reveal that the Moto X smartphone will have a textured back with the speaker grille located beside the camera lens and the LED flash placed below it.
Moto X is expected to be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean version operating system.
The mobile is expected to have 16GB internal storage, 2GB RAM, a 4.7-inch screen with 720p resolution, a 10MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera.
With the launch of the Moto X smartphone, Google plans to challenge Apple’s flagship iPhone 5 and Samsung’s S4.
According to the company, the device will be able to anticipate users’ intentions for using it.
Motorola is planning to produce components such as processors and screens in Asia, while about 70% of the assembly of the Moto X would be carried out in the US.
