LiveBlock Auctions International (LAI) and Auction Software Incorporated (ASI) have revealed that beta testing has begun on a new jointly-developed clerking API, OneClerk.
OneClerk is an application that will allow auction houses (powered by LAI and ASI) to incorporate the administration of both the on-line and on-site auctions into one function. By integrating these two systems, auction houses will be able to eliminate operational inefficiencies and minimise administrative errors and alleviate the need for two block clerks.
Matt Pinch, VP of operations at LAI, said: I am very pleased that LAI and ASI’s two great software products are being joined together with an application that makes the online auction experience seamless and efficient for our mutual customers.
Ron Ball, CEO of ASI, said: I believe it is a special event when two separate companies with separate missions can come together in the development of middleware that provides productivity gains to our mutual customers. The OneClerk product does just that.
LiveBlock Auctions International (LAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of ADESA, delivers live on-line auction technologies. LAI’s client base includes clients in North America, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
Auction Software (ASI) is the preferred provider of auction management software to the independent auto auction community.
