Kaspersky Lab has extended its partnership with D-Link to combine its endpoint security suite with D-Link’s NetDefend series of UTM Firewalls to provide customers with multi-layered protection.

The combination of these two products will enable D-Link/Kaspersky Lab customers to deploy a multi-layered defense strategy to fight security threats.

Kaspersky Business Space Security will enhance the level of protection by providing multiple layers of defense. This adds another level of protection to networks where D-Link NetDefend UTM Firewall is deployed.

NetDefend UTM Firewall gateway serves as the point of access to the corporate network from the Internet, intercepts and stamps out malware, spyware or twarts hacking attempts.

It establishes a second perimeter of defense for critical network assets such as file servers, user workstations, and mobile devices, neutralising any malware that eludes the gateway or bypasses it altogether.

D-Link’s NetDefend UTM Firewall customers will receive free licenses for Kaspersky Business Space Security as well as an option to buy additional licenses at a special D-Link program rate.

D-Link SMB director Richard Chen said, "Having Kaspersky Lab’s solutions in D-Link security devices will help us not only to expand our distribution channels, but also to strengthen our global presence and brand equity."
