Jitterbit, a provider of application and data integration, has unveiled Data Migration, a new service for moving data from any source or back end system into salesforce.com.
The company claims that the new release is a combination of software and knowledge services that can make migration up to six times faster than competing data loaders. The new service assures fast, simple and data migration to and from salesforce, without taxing internal IT resources.
The new release deepens offerings for salesforce.com customers by delivering offerings that overcome the integration challenges between Salesforce, ERP, financial and HR systems, the company claims.
According to Jitterbit, the new offering allows users to migrate account information, sales leads, orders, opportunities and custom objects to Salesforce from any accounting, ERP, data warehouse or other back office systems or databases, in a single project engagement or ongoing, bi-directional data synchronisation.
In addition, the new service processes data in parallel for a 6x performance boost over serial processing techniques, for less time between tests and valuable resource savings, Jitterbit said.
Sharam Sasson, founder and CEO of Jitterbit, said: “We believe data migration can and should be simplified. With limited IT resources available to many organisations, we offer a complete migration service encompassing our professional services, deep salesforce expertise and flexible, scalable software to significantly reduce the time and cost associated with migration projects of any size or scope.”
The Jitterbit Data Migration for Salesforce service is available with pricing starting at $9850 for a complete migration including analysis, iterations, validation, testing and 9 days of consulting.
