Isilon, a provider of scale-out storage offerings to enterprises, has joined the Microsoft Partner Solutions Centre (MPSC) to work together to design and validate integrated IT offerings for enterprise users.
Isilon and Microsoft will develop integrated offerings in the areas like virtualised data centres, cloud computing, and media and telecommunications, the company said.
Isilon said its offerings simplify data management to increase storage resource utilisation and efficiency for virtualised and non-virtualised compute and storage environments using Isilon scale-out-storage.
Microsoft Partner Solutions Centre director David Hayes said Isilon’s scale-out storage offers Microsoft users on-demand storage resources that simplify data management for virtualised data centres, cloud computing environments and media workflows.
Isilon senior director of alliances Roger Frey said whether consolidating a Hyper-V environment onto a single storage resource or scaling out capacity to support private or public cloud computing infrastructures, Isilon enables Microsoft users to maximise their storage investment and get the most of their software investments.
