Internap has unveiled its expanded Managed Hosting offerings to include high-performance servers, multiple storage options, layered data protection. The offerings are designed to meet the customer-specific requirements and complex applications.
The company also provides Managed Hosting customers with networking technologies, including Performance IP, XIP and CDN.
John Freimuth, vice president of managed hosting services at Internap, said: "These key features add to what is already a robust managed hosting service offering.

According to Internap, expanded Managed Hosting services include high-performance Dell servers with expanded processing and memory ranges to address the demands of large databases and virtualised clusters.
These offerings also include managed enterprise storage with multiple storage options, including Direct Attached Storage (DAS), Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) products.
Layered data protection, virtualisation, comprehensive security featuring vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection and log management and other features included in the new offerings.
