Informatica Cloud MDM enhances information for salesforce.com customers

The new application utilises technologies obtained through Data Scout Solutions acquisition

By CBR Staff Writer

Data integration software provider Informatica has introduced its Cloud MDM, which the company said will enable organisations to improve their customer information within salesforce.com.

Informatica said Cloud MDM will provide enhanced customer information for Salesforce.com helping improve sales, services and marketing results.

Informatica Cloud MDM is a Force.com application, which is integrated with salesforce.com and deployed in the cloud, with no need to install additional hardware or software.

With Informatica Cloud MDM, organisation can increase sales productivity with accurate account and opportunity data, enhance customer service and cross-sell by understanding different aspects of the customer relationship and obtain higher marketing return on investment with accurate segmentation and campaign delivery.

In addition, organisations can also track opportunities through the sales cycle across territories and divisions, manage account hierarchies to gain visibility into the real value of each customer and extend customer information with third-party data for additional account insight.

The new release helps organisation to cleanse, standardise and enrich customer information, eliminate and prevent duplicate, inconsistent data, integrate critical enterprise data, and manage and view account hierarchies.

Informatica Cloud MDM takes advantage of Informatica Cloud data integration to provide broad connectivity to other cloud and on-premise systems including SAP, Oracle and NetSuite. It also masters the integration applications in the cloud created by the user.
