Infor is turning its attention to the public sector as it announces a series of partnerships aimed at improving its services for schools, libraries, utilities and government agencies.
Software vendors Altum, Gcom Software and Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC) will join Infor Partner Network IPN, with the aim of being able to connect local resources and consultants to the relevant services in North America.
Lynn Sauder, VP of global alliances at Infor, said: "This year Infor will continue to focus on expanding the IPN with well qualified partners such as these who can provide valuable, industry-specific assets to our customers.
"We also plan to consistently enhance our enablement initiatives to help partners bring added value to each phase of the product lifecycle and become an integral component of our company-wide strategy to deliver beautiful business applications with deep micro-vertical functionality."
Under the agreement Gcom will focus on delivering Infor’s Public Sector Suite and Enterprise Asset Management, the latter having just been updated by the firm.
Meanwhile Altum and CTEC will handle Infor’s performance management, Intelligent Open Network (ION) and analytics platform Ming.le, among other products.
