Imperva, a provider of data security, and ActiveBase, a dynamic data masking provider, have partnered to provide security offering that will allow joint customers to protect personal information from IT personnel and outsourced support teams when accessing production environments.

Imperva said that their partnership with ActiveBase will allow customers to mask personal information in replications, data warehouse and training environments from end-users and IT personnel.

In addition, it will help secure development environments where privileged access to sensitive data is rampant.

Amichai Shulman, CTO at Imperva, said: "Our partnership highlights a commitment to data security across the enterprise.

"Customers are increasingly looking for one security solution to protect data. With this partnership, customers can not only block and monitor access to data, but they can mask it as well."
