Reckitt Benckiser, the company behind well-known global brands such as Airwick, Nurofen and Dettol, has seen substantial growth of over 75% over eight years and is expecting further growth.
IBM will migrate business applications form the company’s current Netherlands-based data centre to two new data centres in the UK and replace the existing wide area network. By replacing its many suppliers globally in favour of just IBM, Reckitt Benckiser hopes to be able to provide a common platform and quality services to all its locations.
“Within Information Services our goal is to have the same passion for delivering solutions that enable the global organisation to work with the speed and agility necessary to continue the consistent outstanding performances year on year,” said Eric Sheley information service director, production delivery at Reckitt Benckiser.
