By CBR Staff Writer

Hybris, a provider of multi-channel commerce and communication software and Endeca Technologies, a search applications company, have entered into strategic product and go-to-market partnership.

As part of the partnership, the companies brings together the Endeca Commerce Suite along with the hybris suite which combines PIM and eCommerce capabilities. Both companies will work together to deliver suite for eCommerce allowing customers to benefit from a complete end-to-end offering to support the needs of retail and B2B eCommerce organisations.

Ariel Ludi, CEO of hybris, said: “Partnering with Endeca gives us a distribution channel in North America and the endorsement of one of the strongest brands in eCommerce technology. In addition to the expanded presence in North America, hybris is excited to partner with Endeca and produce a joint product that we believe significantly raises the bar for eCommerce by integrating with Endeca’s dynamic storefront capabilities and offering up a more consistent and contextual user experience.”

In addition, Endeca will provide sales and support for the hybris suite in North America, and hybris will provide support for Endeca sales in the European market. The integration of the joint offering allows merchandisers and IT professionals to leverage aspects of both platforms in a manner that decreases integration complexity and increases online sales and marketing effectiveness, the companies said.
