HTC has begun working on the stock build version of the of Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean for the HTC One smartphone.

According to reports, the phone with the new Android version is expected to be unveiled in the next two weeks and will be available this summer starting with the USA.

The Google version of the HTC One is expected to be free from any third-party skins or software and offer the Android experience, according to Geek.com.

Introduction of the OS will result in removal of HTC’s apps including the BlinkFeed homepage, which is expected to be replaced by the stock Android homepage.

The device will not have HTC’s BeatsAudio software and the special imaging software for the camera along with the Sense 5.0 user interface.

Launched in April, the current HTC-One device is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, has a 2GB of RAM and runs on the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with a new HTC Sense.
