HP’s MagCloud has introduced a new web-based viewer that enables publishers to enhance their publications on both desktop and mobile computers.

The new web viewer offers customers similar quality of content as in HP MagCloud’s print publications in digital format without requiring to download them.

With the new web viewer, readers can explore, buy and read several publications online through HP MagCloud.

The new web-based viewer is a self-publishing service that offers content owners the choice to distribute a single file as a free or paid digital publication through both iPad app and web viewer, in addition to a professional-quality print option.

HP MagCloud web viewer allows readers to page forward and back, rotate, zoom in and out, and enter full-screen mode.

In addition, users can view pages individually or as a spread, can navigate throughout the publication with thumbnail and all-pages views and can buy a printed copy or download a PDF version for viewing later.

HP chief MagClouder Andrew Bolwell said: "With the unveiling of our web viewer, MagCloud is taking digital publishing to the next level, providing publishers with a seamless experience in which they can distribute their content in print and digital, mobile or desktop, and paid or free."

The web viewer supports all HP MagCloud publications, regardless of format, on any desktop or notebook computer running on any modern web browser.

It also offers hyperlink support, helping publishers by linking directly to advertisers’ web pages, information about the autho on a product or topic, or the ability to email the editor with questions.

HP MagCloud also is a web service that empowers users to self-publish and distribute content, for business or personal use, as a professional-quality print publication or digitally for mobile and online viewing.
