HP said that London’s Spencer Hart is deploying its Converged Infrastructure offerings to help the latter deliver operational agility to meet client demands.

The HP Converged Infrastructure offerings include HP ProLiant DL380 G7 servers that deliver enterprise-class uptime to ensure business continuity, high-availability HP E2510 network switches for fast, secure communications, and HP Ultrium 920 SAS tape drive for secure data protection.

To capitalise on growing demand and to support business growth, Spencer Hart will replace its rigid, outdated infrastructure with the HP offerings.

Spencer Hart in association with HP and HP Gold Partner LAN2LAN deployed a cost-effective IT infrastructure for fast, secure data management across all its operations.

Spencer Hart chairman Gavin Barrett said as our business grows, so does our need to make the most efficient use of our IT resources.

"HP provides Spencer Hart with an easily managed infrastructure of servers, storage and networking. Now we have the operational agility and speed to continually exceed client expectations on a global scale," Barrett said.

Spencer Hart’s small IT team will be able to easily manage the whole HP Converged Infrastructure.

HP Converged Infrastructure is a core element of an Instant-On Enterprise, which embeds technology in everything it does to serve customers, employees, partners and citizens with everything they need, instantly.
