Technology / Software deploys component of Oracle Fusion Middleware

As its customer base and search volumes increased, the application infrastructure needed a scalable system to support its continued growth. chose to implement Oracle Coherence Grid Edition and other Oracle Fusion Middleware components including Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle TopLink to provide an efficient and responsive application infrastructure. relies on Oracle Coherence to provide the in-memory performance and distributed caching capabilities that help alleviate bottlenecks, reduce data contention and improve Java application responsiveness, said Oracle.

Oracle claims that by automatically partitioning data in memory across multiple servers, Oracle Coherence enables continuous data availability and transactional integrity, even in the event of a server failure. Oracle Coherence also allows to scale linearly dynamically for predictable performance and improved resource utilization.

Cameron Purdy, vice president of development at Oracle, said: By deploying an in-memory data grid and an industrial-strength application server on commodity hardware, companies like are addressing their XTP requirements while supporting business and customer loyalty goals.
