Hootsuite has introduced an iOS app, dubbed ‘Suggestions for mobile’, which will allow users to discover, schedule and share content across social media channels in an easier way.

Apart from allowing users to schedule a post to be released across social media channels like Facebook and Twitter, the new app will suggest content that could be relevant to the user’s audience.

The app will curate a list of timely articles and blog posts that will cater to the interests and expertise of the audience.

The company already has a web version of its service and with the mobile version Hootsuite plans to help find and distribute content even when users are on-the-go.

With the app, users will be able to select relevant articles to post on their social media pages, and with a single swipe, they can share it across the platforms.

Hootsuite CEO Ryan Holmes said: "The ability to share quality content with followers is critical to social success.

"Customers often tell us that they want to share more on social, but that it’s too time-consuming. Suggestions for mobile allows people to easily find and share content wherever they are and when it’s most convenient for them."
