With so much change happening over the past two years, it is important that organisations plan for the future. So, we are delighted to be welcoming the SAP community back to our annual user conference, UKISUG CONNECT, which is taking place 28-30 November at the ICC, Birmingham.
The event will bring together 70 SAP partners and 500 SAP customers from across the UK and Ireland to network, share insights, learn and develop together. While virtual events undoubtedly have their benefits, you can’t beat the added value that in-person interactive workshops and networking can deliver. Throughout the event there will be plenty of opportunities for delegates to meet and interact with SAP, industry experts, and policymakers, to help them maximise their current and future investments in SAP.
Hot topics
So, what are the topics front of mind for SAP users? For many, it’s the transition to SAP S/4HANA with the 2027 maintenance deadline for SAP ECC approaching. At the conference, we will be revealing our latest findings into user adoption. We will also be running a dedicated SAP S/4HANA stream with insights from SAP and customers including NSG Group, Laing O’Rourke, and AESSEAL.
Another focus will be RISE with SAP, which is SAP’s new business transformation offering that was announced earlier this year. Based on recent UKISUG research, one in ten (11%) organisations plan to use RISE with SAP, with accelerating their move to SAP S/4HANA being the primary driver. Our dedicated RISE with SAP stream will feature presentations from SAP, NTT Data Business Solutions, Edenhouse and Inchcape. This stream will provide delegates with a deep dive into the scope and potential benefits of the service.
Overall there will be 100 breakout sessions covering everything from customer experience, cloud, analytics and payroll. Customer speaker sessions will include presentations from the likes of Quorn Foods, Dunelm, Royal Mail, and AstraZeneca.
With regards to keynote speakers, delegates will get the opportunity to hear from UKISUG Chairman, Paul Cooper, and Michiel Verhoeven, Managing Director of SAP UK&I, to get their thoughts on developments over the past 12 months. We will also have a fascinating customer keynote from Sudeep Shetty, Global CIO at Britvic PLC, who will be talking about change management at the global beverage maker.
Well-being and high-performance
We recognise that that the past 18-24 months have been particularly challenging for many people. So, in conjunction with our mental health partner, THRIVE, we will be running a series of Soapbox sessions focused on mindfulness and mental health. In addition, we are delighted to have international speaker and best-selling author, Damian Hughes, to close the conference. Damian is the co-host of the High Performance Podcast, and he will be sharing his insights and experience from his time working in sport, discussing how organisations and teams can create a high-performing culture of their own.
UKISUG CONNECT remains the key event for SAP users to share insights, network with peers, and learn about SAP’s future product developments. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back, driving success for the SAP community!
